Shipping & Return

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This policy applies to orders placed directly at veilbathvanity.com. Orders placed through an authorized retailer or marketplace may follow that seller's delivery procedures.

A bathroom vanity is not a parcel. Most of our products travel as freight — palletized, crated, and delivered by appointment — because a stone countertop or a fully assembled cabinet cannot survive ordinary parcel handling. This policy explains, in the order events actually happen, where we ship, how long each stage takes, what each delivery service includes, and exactly what to do in the few minutes when the truck is at your curb, because those minutes decide whether a damage claim succeeds.

Service area

  • Standard delivery is available within the contiguous United States.
  • P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and U.S. territories are not eligible for standard freight delivery, because freight carriers cannot complete an appointment delivery to them.
  • Alaska, Hawaii, remote, ferry, island, and limited-access destinations require confirmation and a special quote before shipment; do not place an order for one of these destinations expecting standard checkout rates to hold.
  • High-rises, gated communities, schools, hospitals, job sites, military bases, storage facilities, and other limited-access locations may require additional carrier services, access arrangements, or fees, and may extend transit time.
  • We do not ship internationally.

Shipping costs for your order are calculated and shown at checkout, after the delivery ZIP code is entered and before you pay. If a rate shown at checkout is clearly the result of a system error, we will contact you before shipping with the corrected rate and the option to cancel for a full refund.

Processing and transit time

  • Processing: in-stock orders typically ship within 7–10 business days after order confirmation and payment clearance. Processing includes order review, quality inspection of the cabinet, countertop, and hardware, protective packing and crating, and freight booking. Some orders may ship sooner.
  • Transit: freight transit is usually 5–10 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, counted from the day the carrier collects the shipment.
  • Total expectation: for most addresses, allow roughly two to three weeks from order to delivery appointment, and longer for remote destinations.
  • Pre-order and backorder dates are estimates provided by the supplier and may change; if a delay extends materially beyond the estimate given at purchase, we will contact you with the option to wait or cancel for a full refund.
  • Cabinets, countertops, sinks, backsplashes, and accessories may travel in separate cartons or, for large orders, in separate shipments arriving on different days. Your tracking and appointment information will identify each shipment.

Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Do not schedule plumbers, installers, or demolition of your existing bathroom until every item has arrived, been unpacked, and been inspected. Neither we nor the carrier can compensate installation schedules lost to a transit delay or a damage replacement.

Delivery services

Curbside delivery with appointment — the standard service

Curbside is the standard freight service for most orders and is included in the shipping shown at checkout unless another service is selected. The local carrier terminal will contact you to schedule a weekday delivery window once the shipment arrives in your area. At delivery, the driver lowers the pallet to the curb or driveway using a liftgate. Carry-in, unpacking, assembly, debris removal, and installation are not included. An adult age 18 or older must be present to inspect and sign. A vanity with a stone top is heavy — plan for at least two adults to move it inside promptly after the driver leaves, and do not leave a crated vanity outdoors overnight.

Threshold delivery

Where available and selected at checkout, the shipment is placed just inside the first dry, ground-level door of the address. Room-of-choice placement, unpacking, assembly, and debris removal are not included, and the driver will not carry a shipment up stairs as part of threshold service.

White Glove delivery

Where available and selected at checkout, White Glove service may include room-of-choice placement on the ground floor, unpacking, and packaging removal. It does not include plumbing, electrical work, wall mounting of floating vanities, assembly beyond what is stated at purchase, haul-away of existing fixtures, or carries that the delivery team judges unsafe or impractical. Availability and price are shown at checkout for your ZIP code; if White Glove is not shown for your order, it is not available for that shipment.

Freight appointment and access

  • The local terminal will contact you — usually by phone — to schedule delivery after the shipment arrives in your area. Please keep the phone number on your order available during the transit window; a terminal that cannot reach you may return the shipment, and return freight for an unreachable delivery is treated under the refused/undeliverable section below.
  • Someone 18 or older must be present for the full delivery window. Carriers are not required to wait beyond a reasonable period.
  • If a freight truck cannot safely reach the address — narrow roads, low clearances, steep grades, weight-restricted streets — delivery may occur at the nearest safe point or be rescheduled with additional carrier fees.
  • Pallets and crates remain with the customer unless packaging removal is included in the purchased service. Keep all packaging until you have inspected everything (see below) and, for a return, until the return is complete.
  • Missed appointments, excessive driver wait time, re-delivery, address corrections, re-consignment, and terminal storage may create additional carrier charges, which are the customer's responsibility where the cause is on the customer side.

Inspect before signing — the most important section of this policy

  1. Count every carton and compare it against the delivery receipt before signing anything.
  2. Inspect the pallet, cartons, crates, and every visible product surface while the driver is present. External carton damage on a stone-top product should always be opened and checked on the spot.
  3. Write it down specifically. If anything is damaged or missing, note the exact damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before you sign — "countertop corner cracked", not just "damaged" — and take clear photographs while the driver is present.
  4. Refuse what is severely damaged. Write "refused due to damage" for that piece; accept undamaged items when the carrier can separate them.
  5. Contact us the same day through our Contact page with your order number and the photographs.

A clean, unnoted signature tells the carrier the goods arrived in good condition, and it can make a later damage claim impossible to win. A specific note on the receipt protects your right to a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you.

Concealed damage

Unpack and inspect every item promptly after delivery, even when the packaging looks perfect — stone can crack inside an intact crate. Concealed damage must be reported with photographs within 48 hours of delivery. Keep the product, cartons, crates, inserts, and all other packaging until the claim is resolved; the carrier may require them for inspection. Claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied by the carrier, in which case we will review the case with the supplier and tell you what options remain.

Small-parcel shipments

Smaller products, hardware, and replacement parts may ship by UPS, FedEx, USPS, or another parcel carrier without an appointment, and tracking will be emailed when the parcel leaves. If delivery without a signature is authorized, responsibility for loss or theft of a parcel shipment transfers when the carrier confirms delivery to the address on the order.

Tracking and delivery updates

You will receive tracking information by email once your order ships. Freight tracking shows terminal movements rather than a street-level position, and the appointment call from the local terminal is your most precise delivery information. If tracking shows no movement for several business days, contact us and we will trace the shipment with the carrier.

Storage, holds, and address changes

  • Carrier terminals generally provide only a short complimentary holding period after arrival; storage charges may apply afterward and are billed at the carrier's rate.
  • If you need delivery held or delayed, tell us before the order ships whenever possible. A shipment already in transit can usually only be held at the destination terminal, on the carrier's terms.
  • Address changes, rerouting, date holds, terminal holds, or service-level changes after dispatch are billed at the carrier's rate, and may not always be possible once a shipment has left the origin terminal. Contact us immediately through our Contact page if an address must change.
  • Orders returned to us because of an incorrect address supplied at checkout, or repeated failed delivery attempts, may incur re-shipment charges.

Undeliverable or refused orders

Orders returned as undeliverable, or refused without documented damage, are treated as buyer's returns under our Returns & Refund Policy and may be subject to round-trip freight charges. Refusing a shipment does not cancel an order by itself — contact us first wherever possible, so we can document the reason and protect any damage claim.

Risk of loss

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to you when the carrier takes possession of the shipment, except that damage documented as described in this policy is handled under the freight-claim process at no cost to you. Please make sure the delivery address is secure and that someone can receive the shipment in its scheduled window.
